A lot of mushroom supplements found in pet stores grown on rice or oats are mycelium which lack many health nutrients (glyconutrients) because the fruiting body never develops. When it comes to mushrooms and their medicinal properties they need to be grown and harvested wild & extracted and not simply powder.
